Surprisingly there was no breeze this morning so it was comfortable getting to the Truck. Even though this was the first day back to work for most there was little traffic on the roads. The entire parking lot at the Planthad a white cover to it that crunched when you walked on it.

The Paint-Line had no problem with the drive but there were a number of Nozzlesthat needed to be adjusted. A couple were actually spraying directly out the entrance. Each time that the Workerswho load the Linewent on break we would critique the Nozzleseven more. By the end of the day they were perfect and Paul was happy.

Of course Kharen complained that we didn’t fix it right. He wasn’t there all of last week and we were tired from working those long hours.

Paul suggested he might hire out the remainder of the job because we had to work so many hours on it. He was a little shocked when he was told that since there was no real Crewexcept Ivan and I on the job that would be a great idea. It won’t bother us a bit to spend time with our families.

I repaired a number of Carrierstoday along with a few Maintenance Itemssuch asFiltersand fixing Pipes.

After parking the Truckat our building I took the time to install the Winter Bra. Diesel Enginestake more time to warm up then a Gas Engineso this way I might start feeling some heat before I get to the Plant.

Even doing that it surprised Kathy when I walked in the Apartmentbefore 4:00.

Around 5:00 we had Christmas Dinner Leftoversfor supper. They were still as fresh as they were a week ago. Normally we don’t let them set that long but with the HoursI was working last weekKathy just hoped they would last.

At 5:30 I headed down to the Laundry Roomwith Four Pair of Coveralls. Two Pair made a load and they were dirty enough from last week’s job that they would get Pretreated Twicealong with the Initial Washes. Most of the Stainscame out but Kathy suggested I order more Coverallsand keep these for the Dirty Jobs. At this place they are all dirty.

The 6 o’clock Local NewsreportedNew Coronavirus Casesfor the Provinceof Ontario but not for the Windsor/Essex Region. With the skyrocketing numbers brought on by the Omicron Variantthe Provinceis enacting even more restrictions of which many of the small businesses that just survived the last Shut Downsay they might not make it this time.

The Weather Networkshows that we’llbounce back slightly to a more seasonal temperature tomorrow.

Kathy will be running errands for me tomorrow. I’ll be hitting the shower as soon as I get home because it will be a busy night.
