As mentioned in yesterday’s Blogwhile moving my Toolboxaround in the back of the TruckI managed to somehow pull my back. It felt like someone drove a spike into my spine. The only cure for that was an Extra Strength Tylenolbefore going to bed. It wasn’t until I got to work this morning that I realized I’d forgotten to take another this morning and one of the things I had cleared out of my locker was the Tylenol.

To say that I was moving slower then normal would be an understatement. I started my Morning Inspectionand noted that Paul was watching my actions. The fact that I would occasionally support my back with my hand might have added a visual seriousness to the way I felt. I noted that it was quite cold on the Mezzaninebut unless I would be given time there wasn’t much I could do about that.

Back at the Maintenance CompoundI was busy straightening Carrierswhen Paul came by asking me to go back upstairs and close off the drafts as best as I could. The big problem is that the Squirrelsand Birds had found small openings in the Wooden Window Coversand started stealing the Insulationfor their own Nests. (They’re no Fools.)I managed to move some of what was leftaround finally shutting down most of the Drafts.

Paul never said a word about working on the Delivery Vantoday. The fact that it started snowing around 7:00 and was still coming down after I got home might have had something to do with it.

The only job Kharen gave me today was to repair some Anode Tubesfor thePaint Tankand he was polite about it. (Tomorrow is Tuesday.)

It felt good talking with Kathy at lunch. Since she does not like to drive when it snows so she stayedhome andhad been busy baking a Banana/Pecan Cake.

Around 2:30 the Clerkfrom Shipping and Receivingtelling me the Number 2 Loading Dockwould not close to the Storeposition. Getting dressed for the weather I was soon outsidewith the Pry Bar. From the way it had been described to me it should have worked. I went back inside raised the Doorby a Footthen pulled the chain to the Mechanical Boxthat controls the Dock. It went up the way it was supposed to. Then pulling the second chain it went into the Store position without any problem.

It took Fifteen Minutesto clean the Truckbefore I could go home. I was surprised when the Truckactually slid a few times. Thankfully I was barely moving.

For supper we had Personal Sized Meat Tourtieresalong with a Southwest Saladtopped off with Carbonated Juiceand finished off with a slice of Banana/Pecan Cakefor dessert. It all tasted wonderful.

The 6 o’clock Local Newsreported500 ActiveCoronavirus Casesfor the Windsor/Essex Region.

The Weather Networkshowed that we reached a high temperature of 23F (-5C) this afternoon but with the Windchillonly felt like 14F(-10C). It will get much colder overnight.

One of the Commentsthe other day said there are Two Sidesto every story and they are right. In reference to why Kharen learned to be a Bullycan be easily answered. He only stands about Five Foot Four Inches Talland was probably picked on because of his size. In order to make that stop he started Bullyingwhoever he could and has carried it into his adult life. I treat everyone the way I want to be treated with Respect. He sees that as a sign of weakness so he uses that against anyone with those mannerisms.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment unless it personally attacks someone for their opinionor is Spam.
