Quick Start, Ups and Downs.

Everyday I set the Alarmfor the same time and have gotten so used to it that sometimes I wake up before it goes off. Imagine my surprise this morning when I woke a Half Hourlater then I was supposed to. The Batteryin the Alarmhad died and didn’t wake me. Toast were a quick breakfast and I was out the door only Ten Minuteslater then normal.

Just when I thought that things were looking up on this morning’s Walk Around Inspectiontwo more Valves were found dripping on the floor that were not dripping yesterday. Continuing myWalk Aroundevery time I come to the feed end of the WasherI check the Spray Patternin the First Stage. Imagine my surprise when there was no ~~Spray~~. As soon as I pointed it out to the Line-Leaderthe Paint-Linecame to a quick stop until there was enoughWater for the Pumpto put itthrough the Pipes.

After checking the rest of the LineI told Paul about the Two Valves. He simply said it wasn’t worth trying to fix the Brass Valvesto just order New Ones. When I called Milan at Windsor Factory Supplynot only did I order the Valvesbut we now know how long the Back-Order.

Back in the CompoundI managed to clean up a Dozen Smaller Valvesbefore Paul introduced me to Nathan from the Roofing Companythat had worked here this summer. We continue to have Leaksin the rear section of the Plantand he was here to check it out. After pointing out where the Leakswere inside we headed up to the Roof. He checked everything. The work their Companyhad performed and what was left untouched. The only reason he feels the entire roof was not fixed at the timewas for Financial Reasonsand the present Leaksare happening in the untouched area.

Back in the CompoundI barely had a chance to take my coat off when I had to put it back on. I had to go to the Rental Propertyto do a few quick repairs as well as measurements to be certain the Commercial Refrigeratorwill fit. It can only pass through the Front Door. The Metal Gatehad been deliberately damaged and had to be brought back to the Plantfor repairs.

I made the parts to repair the Gatebefore having lunch. When I spoke with Kathy she was staying home because it was too cold outside.

I had just painted the welded repair when Avry came to get me. The Leakin the Reverse Osmosis Systemthat I planned to fix with new parts this week wasn’t waiting. Upstairs there was water everywhere andKharen tried blaming the problem on me but it was Pipesthat I never touched before. A few adjustments here and there did the trick at tiding us over for the week.

On the way home I noticed the Priceof Gaswas way down at one of the stations. After telling Kathy that when I got home we had supper so we could go fuel up before too late and the Pricewent back up. Since it was still early we had a Saladas well as a Store Bought Thin Crust Medium Pizza.

Kathy followed me in the Car to the Pioneergas station parking on the opposite side of the Pump. By filling the Truckthen filling the Carwas a little costly but compared to what we have been paying we saved Twelve Centsper Litre.

We made it home before the 6 o’clock Local Newsstarted. They reported51New Coronavirus Casesbringing the Active Casesto 504for the Windsor/Essex Region. Unfortunately our area also experience 4more Deathsbeing blamed on the Delta Variantof the Coronavirusbecause none of them were ~~Vaccinated~~.
